Strike One was a one-off studio project featuring Sultry Singer Sabiha Kara on vocals,, Tobi Bakker and Dick Maun on saxophone. “Can’t Touch Me Anymore” was a Dance floor hit that climbed to the top of the Dance charts and quickly became one of the fastest selling British 12 inch Dance singles. The record we are presenting here is the Dutch press on High Fashion Music Records released in 1985. This press features a “reconstructed mix ” as well as the normal dub/instrumental version on the flip named “Can’t Mix Anymore” that is also present on the original UK release on Elite Records. This fantastic Boogie anthem was produced by the one and only Andy Sojka, the true godfather of UK independant Black music who is responsable for many other 80’s Funk hits.
